EMRA 2026 will take place at Parque das Nações, Lisbon, Portugal, a modern waterfront district with excellent public transport links. The area is served by Gare do Oriente (train/metro/bus hub) and is a short trip from Lisbon Airport (LIS).
By Plane
Lisbon Airport (LIS) is the closest airport and is approximately 10–15 minutes from Parque das Nações by car or metro.
- Taxi: You can always find a taxi at the airport, normally queueing outside the departures and arrivals terminals. As the city centre is very close by, taxis are a rather affordable transportation option, even with the luggage fees that may be charged separately by the driver.
- Ride-hailing: At Lisbon Airport, there is a dedicated area for picking up passengers with orders on online reservation platforms (Bolt and Uber) located on P2, Level 2, arrivals level. On the reverse route, at departures, passengers travelling using these online reservation platforms are dropped off at Drop Off 1 or Drop Off 2, next to the departures area
- Metro: Take the Red Line (Linha Vermelha) from Aeroporto to Oriente. Public transit in Lisbon (metro, bus, and tram) can be paid with contactless banking card, you don't need a specific metro travel card. Simply swipe your contactless (physical/virtual) payment card over the validator, wait for a success message, a green light and a beep, and the gates will open.
